Applying to Compass High School
When it comes to admissions, we believe that the assessments don’t tell the full story. We look at applicants in a holistic way. To ensure that Compass High School is able to meet every student’s needs, we give careful consideration to each applicant throughout the admissions process.
We accept applications throughout the year for possible mid-year openings. However, the usual procedure is to submit an application in the fall for the following school year. It is to your advantage to apply early to allow time for application review, scheduling a visit, and completion of the process. Applicants who submit their applications by February 1 will be notified on March 20th of our admissions decisions. For mid-year applicants and all other applicants who apply outside the priority admissions window, the entire application process takes approximately two weeks.
How to Apply
Here are all the forms needed to submit an application. If you have any questions or need help filling out any of these forms don’t hesitate to contact us.
Applications are due by February 1 for priority admission. Applications received after this date will be considered on a space available basis.
Application should be completed and mailed with $150 application fee to Admissions, 2040 Pioneer Court, San Mateo, CA 94403.
Parent/guardian must sign and submit this with Application for Admission.
To be completed by at least one of the applicant’s current teachers and returned to Compass.
