Tuition and Financial Aid
Compass High School Tuition for the 2020-2021 school year is $43,700. Textbooks, instructional materials, supplies, and the cost of most field trips are included in our tuition. A one-time technology fee of $1,500 also applies for a new student. This covers a new Apple MacBook, software, and hardware for the years the student is at Compass. Upon graduation, the student will take ownership of the laptop.
Additional fees are charged for clinical services that are provided in a one-to-one format, and longer out-of- state trips.
We recognize the effort and financial commitment involved in enrolling a student at Compass. Our Board of Trustees and school staff are committed to ensuring that Compass’s specialized program is available to students and families regardless of their ability to afford the cost. We are actively fundraising for donations and grants to support a need-based scholarship program and have a plan to increase financial aid resources every year for the next five years.
The School’s Financial Aid Committee awards grants based upon careful review of each family’s financial aid application and the recommendations of School and Student Services (SSS) by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). As a result, financial aid awards reflect each family’s unique circumstances, vary in size, and may change from year to year depending upon our financial aid resources and the financial need of applicants. All financial aid information provided by families is kept strictly confidential.
There are three steps to the process:
- Step One: Fill out a Financial Aid Application
- Step Two: Fill out the Parents Financial Statement (PFS) through the NAIS website
- Step Three: Submit your 2019 federal tax return, all schedules, and W-2s.
