A COMPASS EDUCATION
tuition & financial aid
Tuition
The tuition rate for the 2024-2025 school year is $51,400. Textbooks, instructional materials, supplies, activities, athletics, field trips and two intersession trips per year are included in our tuition.
In addition, a one-time technology fee of $1,500 covers a new Apple MacBook Pro and related software for the years the student is at Compass. Upon graduation, the student will take ownership of the laptop.
Affording a Compass education
We recognize the effort and financial commitment involved in enrolling a student at Compass. Our Board of Trustees and school staff are committed to ensuring that Compass’ specialized program is available to students and families regardless of their ability to afford the cost. We actively fundraise for donations and grants to support a need-based scholarship program and increase financial aid resources every year.
The School’s Financial Aid Committee awards grants based upon careful review of each family’s financial aid application and the recommendations of School and Student Services (SSS) by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). As a result, financial aid awards reflect each family’s unique circumstances, vary in size, and may change from year to year depending upon our financial aid resources and the financial need of applicants. All financial aid information provided by families is kept strictly confidential.
Aid Application
The completed financial aid application along with emailed forms and SSS documents are due by February 12, 2025 for returning students and February 17, 2025 for new students to be considered for the 2025-2026 school year. Scholarship funds may not be available if an application is received after this date.
