At Compass High School, we take pride in being part of the Bay Area Small Schools Athletic League (BASSAL), where our after-school sports program is designed to nurture not only talented athletes but well-rounded individuals.

As members of BASSAL, our students compete in a league that emphasizes fair play, community, and character development. Our athletic program provides students with the opportunity to grow physically, mentally, and socially, fostering a sense of teamwork, responsibility, and leadership that extends far beyond the sports arena.

Through participation in a wide variety of sports, including basketball, badminton, cross country, and more, our athletes challenge themselves to reach their full potential. Our experienced coaches are committed to helping students develop their skills while also guiding them to become respectful, disciplined, and resilient individuals ready to take on future challenges both in sports and in life.

At Compass High School, we believe sports are a powerful tool for shaping great humans who are prepared to make a positive impact in their communities. Join us as we strive for excellence on the field and in the world beyond.

Clubs and Activities

Clubs are one way students can share and pursue their unique interests with like-minded peers.

At Compass, students who have a topic they are passionate about are highly encouraged to start a club. Clubs are embedded into the school day and meet once a week, so that every student can participate. All clubs are led by faculty advisors.
