Pastor Charley Scandlyn leads the ABC-CPC ministry New Again and has served in the Bay Area for more than 30 years with a focus on ministry start-ups and spiritual friendships. Charley founded New Community Church, an ABC-CPC church, in Menlo Park in 2018.  He renovated the campus and launched and led the church in its first five years. Charley previously was the founding executive director for the non-profit Ravenswood Education Foundation in East Palo Alto, which funded and developed programs to improve educational outcomes at local public schools. Charley also served for many years at Menlo Church with students and young adults. He also led ministries of generosity and discipleship as executive pastor and as the  Menlo Park campus pastor. Charley holds a master’s degree in theology from Fuller Seminary, a bachelor’s degree in business administration from San Diego State University, and has completed the LEAD innovation program at Stanford's Graduate School of Business. Charley and his wife Nicole have raised seven adult children between them.
