Evi brings to Compass High School a wealth of knowledge and a unique approach, having spent 7+ years as a K-12 math private tutor. She exclusively utilizes the Making Math Real (MMR) method, a multi-sensory methodology proven highly effective for students with neurodiversity and learning differences, to support her own child (now thriving in high school) and her students.

Evi’s background is equally diverse, holding a Master’s Degree in Computer and Information Systems and working a technical career in Silicon Valley before transitioning to education. In her free time, Evi enjoys practicing Tai Chi and baking treats for friends and family. Her blend of technical expertise, personal experience and passion for math education makes her an exceptional resource for students seeking to learn math that aligns with their individual learning styles.
