Mr. Perilla has been involved with the Bay Area Deaf community since 2012. He developed his signing skills at Ohlone College, the Bay Area’s premier ASL interpreting & Deaf Studies program. He has a degree in Arts & Humanities from the City College of San Francisco and is currently in the psychology program at San Francisco State University (with a minor in Anthropology). He is also an ASL teacher at ABC Languages in San Francisco since 2017.

In his free time Mr. Perilla enjoys hiking, playing classical violin, doing yoga, and reading Sci-Fi. He lives in San Francisco with his two cats.
